Kahului’s population of just over 20,000 residents makes it the largest city in Maui County. Home to the Kahului Airport, which offers various connections to destinations across the state, U.S. Mainland, and Canada, Kahului also features a deep-draft harbor, light industrial areas, and commercial shopping centers. The city also receives twice-daily service by the Hawaii Superferry from Honolulu, Oahu. Additionally, the Maui Bus System provides local transportation within Kahului.
